  • The size of cracks depends on thickness of crackle medium. Apply thick coat for larger cracks and vice versa. Use synthetic hair flat brush for application. Maintain same application directon for crackle medium and the coat of paint to be applied on it to get crackle effect.

  • A convenient pack of 12pc X 20ml, Crackle Medium Two Step Base & Top Coat that are easy to carry and convenient to share during workshops, school projects, craft parties and more.
  • Great for adding a crackled, antique effect to creative projects in 2 simple steps.
  • Can be used on different paint mediums like acrylic and oil and also on decoupage sheets. Can be used to crackle effect over any finished projects like acrylic and oil paintings, decoupage projects, art journal pages, scrap book covers, cards etc.
  • Multi-surface friendly, Works on all porous and non porous surfaces including wood, glass, metal, ceramic, plaster, paper, terracotta and more.
  • Water based and dries transparent. Clean up with soap and water. The base coat is milky looking and turns transparent on drying. Will remain tacky to touch on drying though. Apply the top coat, once the base coat looks transparent. The top coat dries completely non tacky and transparent cracks are formed as it dries. The cracks have to be highlighted with metallic wax of desired colour.
  • Works best with broad and flat brush. Apply base coat and top coat in same direction to get uniform cracks.
  • Allow the mediums to dry naturally for perfect crackle effect.
