Step 1 - Take a 3-ply decoupage napkin of your choice. Make sure to select a napkin with white background, so that it merges well with the white background of the ceramic base. Hand tear elements from the napkin, that you would like to decoupage. Hand tearing gives a natural look to the decoupage work.

Step 2 - Separate the thin layers of paper from all the pieces before adhering. You will only need the top printed layer of the decoupage napkin.

Step 3 - Adhere the top printed layer of the napkin with Little Birdie Deco Magic decoupage glue, using a synthetic hair flat brush. Adhere the napkin from one end to other carefully. Use minimal quantity of glue to avoid any wrinkles or bubbles. Once it dries, apply a top coat of the same glue to seal the adhered napkin. The glue dries clear.

Step 4 - Varnish the project with Little Birdie Decor Varnish to make it wipeable.

Step 5 - It is advisable to use the Little Birdie spray varnish, with a neutral finish to avoid any brush marks on the ceramic base.

You can choose the matte or glossy variant of the decoupage glue and the decor varnish, depending on the look you wish to give to the decor piece.
