Step 1: Begin by applying gesso onto the MDF base and allow it to dry thoroughly.

Step 2: Next, coat the surface with decoupage glue.

Step 3: Carefully position and adhere the decoupage paper, then use sandpaper to smooth the edges and remove any excess material.

Step 4: Apply a base coat of crackle medium evenly across the surface.

Step 5: After 20 minutes of drying time, apply a top coat of crackled medium.

Step 6: Once the surface is completely dry, use metallic wax and apply it in a circular motion to highlights cracks.
