Birchwood Christmas Coasters
DIY: Little Christmas Coasters
Step 1: Stain the Coasters
- Take Birchwood coasters and a white cotton rag.
- Apply Indigo Wave wood stain with the rag (wear gloves and work in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors).
- Stain one side, let it dry, then stain the other side.
Step 2: Apply Decoupage Glue
- Apply a thin coat of Deco Magic gloss to one side of each coaster.
- Let it dry for a few hours.
Step 3: Stencil the Designs
- Place your chosen Christmas stencil (e.g., Angel, Christmas tree, bell, reindeer) on the coaster and secure it with masking tape.
- Use a stencil brush to dab Snow chalk paint onto the design.
- Carefully remove the tape and stencil, then let the design dry.
Step 4: Add Details
- Use a silver Acrylic Metallic marker to outline the coaster edges.
- Add small snowflakes and dots around the stenciled design.
Step 5: Seal the Coasters
- Once dry, apply a coat of Decor Varnish gloss to all sides of the coasters.
- Apply a second coat for extra protection.
Final Touch: Stack the coasters, tie them with a Christmassy ribbon, and they’re ready to gift!🎄
